Project Overview

Situation

Amy’s Organics, a well-known producer of quality organic food products, sought to open an Amy’s Drive Thru in Corte Madera, California, a town that disallowed drive-thru businesses by ordinance.

Approach

Using media tours, neighborhood events, aggressive social media outreach, presentations and other grassroots efforts, AMF Media Group helped build a 1,100+ member support group. Supporters wrote hundreds of emails to the Town Council, and council hearings garnered TV and media attention.

Outcome

The result was an unanimous 5 to 0 vote by the Town Council in support of the project, bringing healthy fast food to the city and making Amy’s Drive Thru Corte Madera the family-owned restaurant brand’s second standalone location.

Media Outreach

AMF developed digital and print resources to help educate the Corte Madera community on the Amy’s project and garner local support.
