Project Overview
Situation
When the executive in charge of diversity, equity and inclusion at a regional credit union suddenly resigned, the organization was left with an immediate need for DEI leadership and execution.
Approach
The AMF Strategic Consulting Services team brought in an expert in DEI program strategy and development. This consultant collaborated with the credit union’s CHRO and executive leadership team to update their strategy and further develop the program.
Outcome
The consultant completed a company-wide listening tour and assessment. Based on findings, they further developed the employee resource groups and a new recognition program with accompanying internal communication tools. This work improved DEl awareness and amplified the leadership team’s vision and goals, resulting in increased employee engagement and retention.
